Another season has passed and it’s time to pause for a moment and catch our breath.  2011 was a pretty exciting year at Ifixbyx.  We started the season in the same 800 sq.ft. shop as the previous year, but we ended in a wonderful new studio with nearly triple the floor space.  This past summer we added another new feature who goes by the name David Sommerville.  Dave’s arrival was none too soon.  The same growth that allowed the move also required more manpower.  Those who know Dave can vouch for his work ethic, his vast knowledge of all things cycling, and his commitment to bike racing in NYC and the tools thereof. Our partnership with EnduranceWerx continued to thrive.  Chad and his crew have seen similar growth and we both look forward to continued success in the coming year.
We have a lot in store for 2012.  We continue our commitment to helping our athletes achieve their cycling-related goals with even more services intended to keep their machines functioning flawlessly.  We added a new, fully stocked workstation that is available to rent.  To help with the inevitable overcrowding in your apartment, we have both bicycle and wheel storage space is available.  Of course, we are still a partner with Echappé Wheels and now we are now proud to be associated with BikeCPR to fix your busted carbon frame, fork or accessory.
Heading into the new racing season we are proud to announce our sponsorship of the newly formed SixCycle/RK&O team.  SixCycle was born out of necessity as the success of the NYVelocity program meant that graduates needed somewhere to go.  We anticipate that SixCycle will be a major force in the Cat. 3/4 field this year.
Speaking of NYVelocity: we are again proud sponsors of the the NYVelocity women’s racing team.  Watch for the ladies in black and pink at a race near you.
2012 marks the beginning of what we hope to be a wonderful and long-term relationship with the newest player in the Pro/1/2 mens arena – Champion System p/b Stan’s NoTubes.  We’ve got a few surprises in the works as part of this relationship.  For starters, Ifixbyx will be the agent for a no-cost Stan’s Tubeless wheel demo program.  Look for more info on this and other promotions coming soon.
As we roll into fall we will again work with the Philadelphia Cyclocross School as they continue to take the Mid-Atlantic CX scene by storm.
OK, lets get to work.  The holidays are over and time to get serious.  Please let us know what we can do to help you.
